Eames ESU 400 for Herman Miller, 1952
want
Slightly modified Ikea Mandal dresser.
We liked that, though Ikea, it was a solid wood frame. We also liked the price. And the design is similar to the very nice but expensive Blu Dot Modu-licious. But we didn’t like the original feet. So we opted to get 4” stainless steel hairpin legs from Ian Maclean. They are the exact height of the original wooden feet, which is nice. High quality also. Adds a little class to an otherwise simple dresser.

Lori Andrews, Calgary-based interior designer and blogger over at 10cdesigner designed this room for her client. The client picked up this 1955 Danish desk at an auction and outfitted it with an Eames Aluminum Group chair. You can see another workspace picture and complete home design series of pictures here.
